Rikshewala Ameer Ho Gaya

Ek din ek rikshewale k ghar pe sarkari babu aye,
Adhe tute huye darwaje ko jor se khatkhataye
Rikshawala dauda-dauda aya, aur sankal hatayi,
Dekh kar samne suit-boot wale babu, uski buddhhi chakrayi.
Usne socha ki ye shayad koi survey karne aye hai,
Ya bachho ko polio ki do boond pilane aye hai.
Bade aadar se usne unhe andar bulaya,
Andar tooti mej aur fati chatayi dekh sarkari babu jhallaya.
Bola hum baithne nahi aye hai,
Bus tumse kuch sawal karne aye hai.
Yeh sun ke rikshawala ghabraya,
Socha ye kesa sankat hai aya.
Babu ne pucha, ghar me kitne log hai,
Sabhi maujud h yahan, yeh bhi kya kam sanyog hai.
Babu ne charo taraf najar daudayi,
To teen bachhe aur yeh h tumhari lugayi.
Rikshewale ne sir hilakar hami bhari,
Aur ek budhi ma hai jo khat par h padi.
Babu ne pucha, mahine m kitna kama leta hai,
Mai-baap mahine ka nahi, hamara to din bhar ka theka hai.
Achha to din m kitna kama leta hai,
Malik yeh to is par nirbhar h ki sawari kitna deta hai.
Gol-gol batein mat bana,
jaldi se apna hisab bata.
Malik kiraya kaat ke kuch 200 rupaye mil jate hai,
Inhi peso me hum apna kharcha chalate hai.
Ghar me koi aur kaam nhi karta hai,
Maa budhi h, bachhe chhote, ghrwali ko inka khayal rakhna padta hai.
Achha to 200 rupaye har din ka, prati vyakti 33 rupaye ate hai,
Abhi tak kya aap garibi rekha mein ate hain.
Rikshewale ne sar hila kar apna BPL card dikhaya,
Use dekh babu muskuraya,
Jane kya socha, fir badbadaya,
Badhai ho bhai, ab tum garib nahi rah jaoge,
Ab tum BPL se upar uth jaoge.
Ab is kagaj pe angudha lagana,
Aur age se anaj lene sarkari ration ki dukan par mat ana.
Rikshewale ne gaur se babu ke chehre ko dekha aur bola,
Malik in 200 rupaye me kharcha badi mushkil se chalta hain,
33 rupaye me tan ko kapda, petbhar bhojan, kya sab milta hain.
Babu dapta, chup raho, kya tum sarkar se jyada jante ho,
Apne aap ko planning commission se upar mante ho.
Hamare PM ne kaha hai, 28 rupaye se upar kamane wala garib nahi hota hai,
Aur tut oh fir bhi 5 rupaye jyada kama leta hai.
Yeh sun kar us garib ki ankho se aansu tapak pade,
Anghudhe ki chhap le babu dusre ghar chal pade.
Kamre ke beech betha garib darwaje ko takat rah gaya,
Dukh tha use, aaj wo amir ho gaya.

Sanak

Zindagi me kuch ho na ho sanak honi chahiye, Sapne ankho me aur kano me unki khanak honi chahiye.

Day of Love

It was a bright sunny morning, I woke up after a late night chat with my lady love. Suddenly at 11:00 am she called me and said she was going home, she didn’t tell me the reason rather I didn’t let her speak as the news spoilt our date plan. We used to stay in the town of Bhopal, whereas her home was at Indore, which is at a distance of 200 kms from Bhopal. I immediately got up and without doing my chores, I rushed towards the bus stand. There she was, pretty as always, bathed in bright sunlight. Seeing her, I fell in love with her again. At the very moment, I thought of embracing her with all my love for her. With a bit of thought, I decided against as I have to portray my anger. I didn’t speak to her, just stood beside, observing the surroundings, accidently touching her hand every now and then. Hardly a moment has passed, the bus arrived and she left. When I reached home on my bike, I checked my phone, which read 10 missed calls and an SMS. All were  from her. The message read...
India against corruption “Practise what preach”, this is an ideology which is taught to us from our childhood. But it seems like an outdated concept in this real world. Our politicians preach living a simple life while driving in a SUV and that too on public expense; our cricketers preach playing fair, while the winners fall to the bottom of fair play table. Our actors preach, “No to drugs” while Caught in camera in inebriated state. Media preaches fair jurisdiction and jurisdiction for all while carrying out “incriminate the accused campaign” and the list goes on. But this is not about the actors, politicians, cricketers, media; it is about the common man. This is about an incident which I came across in a small town in M.P, last year. During the month of April 2011,there was a large hue and cry regarding the anticorruption campaign and the Lokpal bill. The rage reached to the level of a revolution, where the whole country seems to be united under one agenda. Although the m...
